Baby Loafer Pattern Needs A New Name!
For as much as I love Target, sometimes I feel like my kids are wearing the exact same things as everyone else. Don't you see that..."Oooh, I love those shoes, I've got them in green. Target, right?" It's the same for shirts, skirts, sundresses, bathing suits, toys. So, I decided to buck the trend and knit some loafers for my kids to wear around the house, out to dinner, to friend's places, to church, where ever! I came up with these loafers but I'm having a hard time figuring out the perfect name...any ideas? I just keep calling them Baby Loafers but that has no personality! Comment below with your ideas and the winner gets the pattern for free!

Do you have the Sweet Lil' Thing Toddler Dress
The long and short of it is no, you don't...not yet at least. "Why not?" you ask. Well, I'm not done with the pattern just yet. But, I will give you a sneak peak!
Alas, now I make sure to always walk on the marked path and I always knit in cotton for my little ones. The Sweet Lil' Thing Toddler Dress is knitted from Valley Yarns Springfield in a fresh Pale Olive and Pale Lilac palette. It's a perfect fit for that sweet lil' thing in your life! If you want to know when the pattern is complete and ready to buy, type in your name and address below and I'll e-mail you as soon as it's done!

New Pattern! GG's Cozy Knit Baby Booties Are Ready for You!
I love these booties - my kids do, too! My son is always wanting to wear them and I have to remind him that they are not "outdoor" shoes! I love that they're snug and not falling off his tootsies all the time, plus, they're almost cuter than he is...almost! Anyway, for those who are new to mondaymorningknits.com, these booties came about in a way one wouldn’t expect. I was at a friend’s house and we got to talking about knitting (she doesn’t knit but loved the things I’ve knitted). She showed me a pair of booties her great grandmother (called Nanny) had made her and her cousins. "Unfortunately," she continued, "Nanny's no longer with us and no one knows how to make the booties. Do you think you could figure them out?” “Absolutely!” I replied. I made good on my promise and so here they are…ready to cozy up to some bare baby feet.

Great Grandma once knitted me a....
FYI: I am always up for a challenge. I was at a friends house the other day and she commented how she loved the Cutest Baby Loafers I made as shower gifts - "I'll have to remember those for the next baby," she says. "BTW", she continues, "my great grandma knitted me and my cousins slippers when we were babies but no one know how to make them anymore. Do you think you could figure out the pattern and make some for my daughter and nieces?" My eyes lit up, my head began to swim with visions of knitting greatness and I replied, "Absolutely!"...before I had even seen the slippers. Luckily for me, great grandma was a fan of simple knits. The challenge was met, a new pattern written and now GG's Cozy Knit Baby Booties are available for you!
